Momentum in the UK housing market continued to drop last month with property price growth slowing to the same level as 16 months ago, according to the latest survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The research follows a number of recent reports that show that the residential property market is slowing and annual price rises falling, reflecting weaker demand from purchasers which fell for the third month in a row.
